The Fosdyke Saga ran as a strip in the Daily Mirror from March 1971 - February 1985 when the late Robert Maxwell brought about it's unwelcome demise because he didn't like it. 

Well this time we don't have to worry about what he thinks and Bill is delighted to be able to bring it back, taking some of you on a trip down memory lane and introducing it to others for the very first time ……
